How it works
Carefully fill out this form. We require 2 videos of you performing arias of your choice, which you might want to prepare in advance. Application fee is 29€.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an online video interview.
After positive feedback, you will receive tuition payment information. In order to hold your spot at COA, an advance of 800€ needs to be paid. This amount will go towards your selected tuition package.
Our hospitality team will reach out to you about further steps and your arrival.

Financial aid
Financial aid is available for partial coverage, as well as a number of full scholarships. We award them based on artistic ability, financial need and casting needs for our operas.
Write a letter explaining your need and attach it to your application. Tell us how much financial aid you're applying for, and how else you plan to fundraise: concerts, GoFundMe, local scholarships and so on.
Daily schedule
Staging rehearsals and production rehearsals in the theatre.
Corrections with the conductor.
Singing lessons, masterclasses, role study, diction and movement classes. Singers not rehearsing on the main stage can take as many singing lessons as they wish with our three teachers in residence. Schedules are released daily, just like in professional theatres around the world.
